APPOINTMENTS DURING COVID-19
Please be aware that we are setting up telephone and virtual appointments to speak with our doctors. Please do NOT come in person to the clinic unless instructed to do so by one of our doctors or staff members. Our doctors are happy to refill prescriptions, review lab work, and provide assessments both by phone and by virtual appointment. Please be aware that our phone lines are busy as we work through these uncertain times. If you can’t get through, please wait a few moments and try us again. Please read our “COVID-19 Patient Safety” page for information on what we are doing to protect our patients. We appreciate your understanding and patience. Doctors are available for in person appointments for DRIVERS MEDICAL EXAMS. These forms are not covered my MSP and there will be a fee. Covid-19 screening is done on the phone and upon arrival thoroughly. Please call to schedule a time as we keep our door closed currently.

Please be aware that we are setting up telephone and virtual appointments to speak with our doctors. Our doctors are happy to refill prescriptions, review lab work, and provide initial assessments both virtually and by phone. If you are experiencing respiratory symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing), please self-isolate. Please stay at home, unless in the case of an emergency, even if 811 has advised you to attend a clinic. You can call our clinic at 250-592-8485 so we can set you up with a telephone or virtual appointment with one of our doctors. We appreciate your understanding and co-operation.
This is certainly an emotional time, and while you may be healthy and without symptoms, social distancing is about protecting your loved ones, the elderly and those with compromised immune systems. If you do have symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc), these could be symptoms of COVID-19, seasonal influenza or a cold. Either way, the safest approach is to isolate yourself for 14 days (the contagious period for someone with COVID-19). Alternatively, use the COVID-19 screening tool, found here.
As per the BC Ministry of Health and the Provincial Health Officer’s joint statement on March 12, we will not be providing sick notes during this time.
For ALL questions around coronavirus and COVID-19, please visit the BC Centre of Disease Control website or the Island Health website for the most up to date information. Thank you for respecting our staff’s time so that we can deal with the ongoing demand for other patients in this difficult time. We will continue to update our website as necessary, as things are frequently changing.
