Dear Patient,

We regret to inform you that the Shelbourne Medical Clinic closed permanently on March 28, 2024.

We acknowledge how difficult and frustrating the healthcare system is to access and navigate at this time. If you are looking for an appointment we recommend you contact one of Victoria’s six Island Health owned Urgent and Primary Care Centres (UPCCs). You can find the locations and contact information for the UPCCs on the Health Link BC Website or by clicking here.

If you have not already registered for the provincial Health Connect Registry, we strongly advise you to do so. This registry is working to match unattached patients with Family Physicians and Nurse Practitioners. REQUESTING YOUR MEDICAL RECORDS

On May 31, 2024 your medical records will be securely transferred and stored with RSRS, an electronic medical record storage company. To obtain a certified copy of your medical record for yourself and/or a new doctor, please contact RSRS by phone at 1-888-563-3732 or via their website at: www.recordsolutions.ca. There is a fee for this service but it is not prohibitive.
